This decision will affect thousands of PWPs presently waiting for this procedure, which can literally return a person to a functional life, with hopes and a future once again. Many of us are facing the possibility of this surgery becoming our only chance for maintaining mobility. Without it, we will become trapped inside our bodies, as even swallowing becomes a difficult task.
