Margret, Thank you for your response. The
myoclonus-dystonia I have is inherited
movement disorder with myoclonic jerks with
dystonic movements. This is my second attempt
with DBS. I also had a thalamotomy in 1997
which worked for three months before all movements returned. This Website gives me
morral support and also I can give back some feedback. Some days it very frustrating Thank you! Lee

Hi Lee,

Although I am sure you have done a seach on DBS and myoclonus dystonia, I found the contents of the website very informative. It has the 2002 Symposium Report reproduced and other articles as well.
If you use googles.com as your search engine, you will find other sources of info as well.

I enjoy your posts, whether the subject matter is an up-date on your condition or helpful advice to another posting. And, of course Roberta's comments are often brilliantly humorous and always helpful.

HAVE GENETIC MYOCLONUS-DYSTONIA? IT IS A
VERY DIFFICUT DISORDER TO TREAT WITH
DBS
